What is facelift surgery?

Typically, an incision is made along the hairline above the ear. During the operation, Dr. Henry will tighten the muscles in the subcutaneous layers and neck muscles, and then the skin is lifted, and excess skin is removed.

For optimal results, you may undergo one or more of the following facial plastic surgery procedures along with facelift surgery:

• Laser skin resurfacing: Revitalizes the skin in order to achieve a youthful, even-colored, and supple complexion. This requires the removal of superficial layers of the skin with a pulsed laser. In addition, this procedure smoothes away wrinkles, slight scarring, and age spots.
